Privacy policy

Kellys On The Coast ("we," "us") operates coastkellys.com. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
- Booking information: name, email, phone, party size, stay dates, and any notes you send us — used to manage your reservation and stay.
- Payment information: processed entirely by Stripe. Your card number never reaches our servers and we never store it.
- Messages: contact-form submissions, so we can reply.
- Technical basics: our hosting provider (Google Firebase) logs IP addresses and requests for security and reliability. We do not run advertising trackers.
How we use it
- To confirm, manage, and communicate about your reservation (confirmations, receipts, check-in instructions, reminders).
- To synchronize availability with the booking platforms we list on, so double bookings can't happen.
- To meet tax and accounting obligations.
What we never do
- We never sell or rent your personal information.
- We never store card numbers.
- We never send marketing email without your consent.
Service providers
We share only what's necessary with: Stripe (payments), Google Firebase (hosting and database), our email delivery provider (transactional email), and our channel manager (calendar synchronization). Each processes data under its own privacy policy and our instructions.
Retention & your rights
Reservation records are kept as long as required for tax purposes (typically 7 years). You may request a copy or deletion of your personal data at any time via the contact form; we'll respond within 30 days.
Security cameras
Exterior security cameras monitor the outside of the property for safety. There are no cameras inside the home.
Changes
We'll post any changes to this policy on this page with a new effective date.
