Terms of service

Effective date: July 10, 2026

1. The agreement

Booking through coastkellys.com creates a short-term rental agreement between you (the "Guest") and Kellys On The Coast (the "Host") for the property on Jekyll Island, Georgia described on this site. Completing checkout confirms you accept these terms, the house rules, and the cancellation policy.

2. Reservations & payment

• Rates, fees, and taxes are itemized before payment. The total shown at checkout is the total you pay.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Where a deposit option is offered, the balance is due per the schedule shown at checkout; reservations with unpaid balances may be cancelled per the cancellation policy.
• The primary guest must be 25 or older and present for the duration of the stay.

3. Occupancy & conduct

• Occupancy may not exceed the party size on the reservation (maximum 8).
• No parties, events, or commercial photography without prior written consent.
• Violations of the house rules may result in termination of the stay without refund.

4. Damage & liability

• Guests are responsible for damage beyond normal wear and tear caused by their party.
• The Host is not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to guest property except where caused by the Host's negligence. Use of the beach, fire ring, grill, hammocks, and bicycles is at the Guest's own risk.
• The Host's total liability is limited to the amount paid for the reservation.

5. Access

The Host or its cleaning/maintenance providers may access the property for urgent repairs, with as much advance notice as reasonably possible.

6. Force majeure

If the property becomes uninhabitable or a mandatory evacuation is ordered, affected nights are refunded in full; the Host has no further liability for travel costs.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Venue for any dispute is Glynn County, Georgia.
